MINISTER TEKİN VISITS THE TURKISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN SAUDI ARABIA

Students welcomed Minister Tekin at the entrance of the school with flowers and a folk dance performance.
 
During his visit, Minister Yusuf Tekin toured the classrooms, engaged in conversations with the students, and joined them by sitting at their desks to participate in the lessons.
 
Minister Tekin provided the students with information about the Century of Türkiye Education Model, wished them success, and asked them to convey his greetings to their families.
 
Minister Tekin later met with the teachers in the teachers' lounge. He listened to their requests and addressed their questions.
 
Teachers, expressing great appreciation for the Century of Türkiye Education Model, also thanked for the 'Ailem' series available on the 'Velivizyon Platform' and the AI-supported 'MEBİ' initiative, which was implemented to facilitate the Turkish University Entrance Exam (YKS) process for students. Additionally, they expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made regarding the waiting periods for the titles of head teacher and expert teacher.
 
Minister Tekin also emphasized that one of the three priorities they have set for this school year is to initiate a process in which families are more involved in the education and teaching processes.
 
Minister Tekin stated that the 'Velivizyon Platform' was launched in this direction and that the Ministry had also prepared content to be shown to parents at parent-teacher meetings.
 
During the visit, Minister Tekin surprised one of the school's teachers, Erhan Kölemen, by celebrating his birthday and presenting him with a pen.
 
Visit to the Medina Turkish International School
Minister Tekin later visited the Turkish International School in Medina. Welcomed with flowers by the students, he received information about the school.
 
Minister Tekin then met with teachers in the teachers' lounge, engaged in conversation, and received their requests.
